ERP development

We customise ERPNext and Odoo, or build ERP from scratch, so finance, inventory, purchasing and people run on a single source of truth.

Overview

Most companies arrive at ERP after spreadsheets stop scaling. Stock counts disagree, invoices go out late and nobody trusts the monthly numbers. We start by mapping how work moves through your business, then choose the lightest system that fits. Often that is ERPNext on the Frappe framework, or Odoo, customised with your workflows, reports and approval chains. When an off-the-shelf suite would force you to bend your process too far, we build a custom ERP. Either way, we migrate your data, train your team and stay on for support.

01 — What we deliver

  • 01

    ERPNext and Frappe customisation

Custom doctypes, workflows, print formats, scripts and standalone Frappe apps that survive upgrades.

  • 02

    Odoo implementation

Module configuration, custom modules, version upgrades and clean-up of earlier implementations.

  • 03

    Custom ERP

Purpose-built systems for operations that no standard suite models well.

  • 04

    Data migration

Masters, opening balances and transaction history moved from Tally, spreadsheets or legacy software.

  • 05

    Reports and dashboards

Management reports, statutory outputs and live operational views your leadership will actually open.

  • 06

    ERP integrations

Connections to e-commerce stores, payment gateways, banks, CRMs and biometric attendance devices.

Multi-warehouse stock, batch and serial tracking, purchase cycles and landed cost.

Services and projects

Timesheets, project costing, milestone billing and resource planning.

Multi-company and multi-currency

Consolidated accounts across entities, with GST in India and VAT in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Attendance, leave, payroll, expense claims and employee self-service.

03 — Delivery cycle

  1. Step 01

    Process mapping

Interviews with each department to document how orders, stock, money and approvals move today.

  2. Step 02

    Fit-gap analysis

What standard modules already cover, what needs configuration and what genuinely needs code.

  3. Step 03

    Solution design

Chart of accounts, roles, permissions, workflows and report specifications, agreed in writing.

  4. Step 04

    Configuration and development

Configuration first, custom code second, delivered in modules you can test as they land.

  5. Step 05

    Data migration

Trial migrations with reconciliation reports until balances and stock match to the unit.

  6. Step 06

    User acceptance testing

Your team runs real transactions end to end and signs off each process.

  7. Step 07

    Training and go-live

Role-based training and a cut-over plan timed around your accounting period.

  8. Step 08

    Hypercare and support

Close support through the first closing cycle, then an ongoing support plan.

06 — Why Foxbeta

  • 01

    Process before software

We map how your business works before touching configuration, so the system fits the work and not the reverse.

  • 02

    Configuration first, code second

Less custom code means cheaper upgrades. We customise only where standard features genuinely fall short.

  • 03

    Local compliance, global markets

We set up GST and e-invoicing for India and VAT for the UAE and Saudi Arabia within the same system.

  • 04

    Training that sticks

Role-based sessions and short written guides for each process, so adoption does not depend on one person.

08 — FAQ

Should we choose ERPNext, Odoo or a custom ERP?
ERPNext suits companies that want open source with no per-user licences and deep customisation. Odoo suits teams that want a broad app ecosystem. Custom ERP makes sense when your core operations are unusual enough that a suite would get in the way. We recommend after a fit-gap analysis.
How long does an ERP implementation take?
A focused ERPNext or Odoo rollout for a single company typically takes 8–16 weeks. Multi-company, manufacturing or heavily customised projects take longer and are usually phased by module.
How much does ERP implementation cost?
Cost depends on the modules you need, the number of users and entities, how much customisation is required, data migration volume and integrations. We give a fixed quote after a short discovery call.
Do ERPNext and Odoo have licence fees?
ERPNext is open source. Odoo has an open-source Community edition and an Enterprise edition licensed per user by Odoo. We explain the trade-offs for your case during discovery.
Can you migrate our data from Tally or spreadsheets?
Yes. We migrate masters, opening balances and history, then run reconciliation reports so your accountant can verify every figure before go-live.
Can the ERP run in the cloud or on our own servers?
Either. We deploy on AWS, Google Cloud, a VPS or your on-premise servers, with automated backups in every case.
