UI/UX design

We research, design and test digital products, then hand engineers a design system they can build from without guesswork.

Overview

Good interface design is mostly decisions: what to leave out, what comes first, what happens when something goes wrong. We make those decisions with evidence. Interviews and analytics show where users struggle. Wireframes and prototypes test ideas before they cost engineering time. Then we produce high-fidelity screens in Figma, backed by a design system of tokens, components and states. Because we also build software, our designs account for loading, errors, empty states and real data. Design-only engagements are welcome, and we work happily with in-house teams.

    Product design

Flows, wireframes and high-fidelity interfaces for web and mobile applications.

  • 04

    Design systems

Tokens, components, states and usage guidelines in Figma, mirrored in code.

  • 05

    Prototyping

Clickable prototypes for user testing, stakeholder sign-off and investor demos.

  • 06

    Design consultancy

Senior design guidance embedded in your product team for reviews, critiques and direction.

02 — Solutions

SaaS dashboards

Dense data made legible, with filters, tables and charts that scale to real usage.

Mobile app design

Native-feeling iOS and Android interfaces that respect each platform and thumb reach.

Brand-led marketing sites

Editorial layouts, typography and motion that make a company look like itself, not a template.

Accessibility reviews

WCAG AA checks for contrast, keyboard use, screen readers and reduced motion.

Product redesigns

Modernising ageing products step by step without disorienting existing users.

03 — Delivery cycle

  1. Step 01

    Kick-off

Goals, constraints, users and success measures agreed with every stakeholder.

  2. Step 02

    Research

Interviews, analytics and competitor reviews to ground decisions in evidence.

  3. Step 03

    Flows and architecture

User journeys and screen inventories mapped before visual work begins.

  4. Step 04

    Wireframes

Low-fidelity layouts for fast feedback on structure and priority.

  5. Step 05

    Visual design

High-fidelity screens with typography, colour, motion notes and every state covered.

  6. Step 06

    Prototype and test

Clickable prototypes tested with real users, then refined.

  7. Step 07

    Design system and handover

Components, tokens and specs organised so developers can build without guessing.

  8. Step 08

    Build support

Design QA during development, so the shipped product matches the design.

05 — Technology

06 — Why Foxbeta

  • 01

    Designers who understand build

Our designers work next to engineers daily, so designs are ambitious but buildable within your budget.

  • 02

    Evidence over opinion

Research and testing settle debates, which keeps reviews short and decisions defensible.

  • 03

    Accessible by default

Contrast, focus states, keyboard paths and reduced-motion variants are part of every screen we hand over.

  • 04

    Never a template

Editorial typography and purposeful motion give your product a character competitors cannot copy from a theme store.

08 — FAQ

Do you only design, or also build?
Both. Many clients hire us for design and development together, but design-only engagements are common, and we hand over files your own developers can build from.
How long does UI/UX design take?
A UX audit typically takes 2–3 weeks. Design for a new web or mobile product typically takes 4–10 weeks, depending on the number of flows and the depth of research.
How much does UI/UX design cost?
Cost depends on the number of screens and flows, how much research and testing you want, and whether a full design system is included. We give a fixed quote after a short discovery call.
What will we receive at the end?
Organised Figma files, a design system with tokens and components, clickable prototypes, and specifications for spacing, states and motion.
Can you work with our existing developers?
Yes. We join your rituals, review pull requests for design accuracy and adapt the handover to your codebase and component library.
Can you redesign an existing product without upsetting current users?
Yes. We test changes with existing users, roll out in stages and keep familiar patterns where they work.
