E-commerce development

We build online stores on Medusa.js and Shopify, with fast storefronts, local payments and the back-office logic your business actually runs on.

Overview

Store builders work well until your pricing, fulfilment or catalogue stops fitting their template. Headless commerce separates the storefront from the engine, so each can do its job properly. Our specialty is Medusa.js: open source, self-hosted and extendable in TypeScript, with no platform fee on every order. For brands that prefer a hosted engine, we build on Shopify, including headless storefronts. Payments run through Razorpay for UPI and Indian cards, and Stripe for international buyers. We configure tax, shipping and currency for every market you sell in.

06 — Why Foxbeta

  • 01

    Medusa.js is our specialty

We know the engine from modules to workflows, so custom pricing, fulfilment and B2B logic live in the core, not in workarounds.

  • 02

Payments for both sides of the map

Razorpay and Stripe can run in the same store, so each buyer sees the gateway and methods they trust.

  • 03

    Straight answers on platform choice

If Shopify fits your business, we say so. We recommend Medusa.js only when ownership or custom logic justifies it.

  • 04

    Speed that sells

Image pipelines, edge caching and product structured data are part of every build, because slow stores lose orders.

08 — FAQ

Should we build on Medusa.js or Shopify?
Shopify suits brands that want a hosted platform and a standard checkout. Medusa.js suits businesses with custom pricing, B2B rules, marketplaces or a need to own their stack without per-order platform fees. We recommend one after discovery.
How long does an e-commerce build take?
A Shopify store typically takes 4–8 weeks. A custom Medusa.js build with a headless storefront typically takes 8–16 weeks, depending on integrations and catalogue size.
How much does an online store cost?
Cost depends on the platform, catalogue complexity, number of markets and currencies, custom features and integrations with ERP or shipping. We give a fixed quote after a short discovery call.
Can we accept payments from India and abroad?
Yes. We typically use Razorpay for UPI, Indian cards and netbanking, and Stripe for international cards and wallets, with the right gateway shown based on region.
Can you migrate our existing store?
Yes. We move products, customers and order history, map every old URL to a redirect and run both stores side by side until the cut-over is verified.
Will we be able to manage products ourselves?
Yes. Products, prices, stock, discounts and content are managed from the admin. We train your team and provide written guides.
