Embassy of Nepal
The Embassy of Nepal NOC Portal moves No Objection Certificate requests for travel approvals online. Applicants submit their details and documents through a guided form, and embassy staff review, approve and issue certificates from a secure back office. The portal is live and in use.

About Embassy of Nepal
The Embassy of Nepal is a diplomatic mission of Nepal. Among its consular services, it issues No Objection Certificates that citizens need for certain travel approvals.
Challenge
The problem to solve
NOC requests have traditionally relied on paper forms and in-person visits. That meant queues for applicants, manual record keeping for staff and little visibility into where a request stood. Any replacement had to be simple for the public and secure for official records.
- Let applicants apply for an NOC online.
- Give staff one place to review and decide on requests.
- Keep applicant data and documents secure.
- Show applicants the status of their request.
Solution
What we built
We built a public application portal with a step-by-step form and document upload, and a separate staff console with role-based access. Each request moves through clear states from submission to issue. Applicants can check their status without calling or visiting, and staff work from a single queue.
- 01Public application form with document upload
- 02Staff review and approval console
- 03Request status tracking
- 04Role-based access and audit trail
Features
01
Guided application
A step-by-step form that checks inputs as the applicant goes, so fewer requests come back incomplete.
02
Staff queue
Officers see every pending request in one place and act on it with a clear decision.
03
Status visibility
Applicants can see where their request stands at any time.
04
Secure records
Access is limited by role, and actions on each request are logged.
Results
The portal is live, and NOC requests that once needed paper and a visit now start online.
