Business automation

We find the repetitive work inside your operations and automate it with n8n, scripts and AI, with people approving what matters.

Overview

Every growing company runs on invisible manual work: retyping orders, chasing approvals, building the same report every Monday. We map those tasks, rank them by hours lost and risk of error, and automate the ones worth it. Simple flows run on n8n or Zapier. Heavier jobs run as Python services with queues, retries and logs. Where judgement is needed, AI handles the first pass and a person approves. Every automation ships with monitoring and alerts, so a broken step surfaces straight away, not at month-end.

03 — Delivery cycle

  1. Step 01

    Process audit

We shadow your team and list every repetitive task, with time spent and error rates.

  2. Step 02

    Prioritise

Tasks ranked by hours saved, risk and build effort, so the first automations pay back fastest.

  3. Step 03

    Design

Flow diagrams covering the happy path, failure paths and where people approve.

  4. Step 04

    Build

Flows built on n8n, Zapier or custom code, depending on volume and data sensitivity.

  5. Step 05

    Parallel run

The automation runs alongside the manual process on real data until results match.

  6. Step 06

    Rollout

Go-live with monitoring, alerts and a written runbook for each workflow.

  7. Step 07

    Review and extend

Regular checks of runs and failures, and the next automations from the backlog.

06 — Why Foxbeta

  • 01

    We measure before we automate

Every automation starts with a clear count of hours and errors, so you know what you are buying.

  • 02

    Self-hosted when it matters

n8n on your own servers keeps sensitive data under your control and avoids per-task pricing as volumes grow.

  • 03

    Built to fail safely

Retries, error queues and alerts mean a failed step is caught and recoverable, never silently lost.

  • 04

    People stay in the loop

Payments, contracts and customer-facing messages pass a human approval step until you choose otherwise.

08 — FAQ

What kinds of work can be automated?
Anything repetitive and rule-based: moving data between systems, generating documents, sending reminders, compiling reports and routing requests. With AI, we can also handle semi-structured work such as reading invoices or sorting emails.
Should we use n8n or Zapier?
Zapier is quick to start and suits low volumes. n8n can be self-hosted, handles higher volumes without per-task pricing and keeps data on your servers. We often start on one and move heavy flows to code when needed.
How long does an automation project take?
A single workflow typically takes 1–2 weeks including testing. A wider programme across departments is delivered in phases over a few months, with the highest-value flows first.
How much does business automation cost?
Cost depends on the number of workflows, the systems involved, data volumes, error handling needs and whether AI steps are required. We give a fixed quote after a short discovery call.
What happens when an automation breaks?
Every workflow has logging and alerts. Failed runs are retried or queued, and the right person is notified with enough detail to fix or rerun them.
Is our data safe?
We use least-privilege credentials, encrypted secrets and self-hosted tools where data is sensitive. Nothing is sent to a third-party AI service without your agreement.
